Are you interested in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics? Our STEM Venturing Crew does hands on activities related to all four of these areas. We encourage anyone in 8th-12th grades to come join us.
We meet weekly on Tuesdays at Harrisburg United Methodist Church at 7:30 PM, and usually have one weekend trip or event each month.
Events this year include things like:
- Flying a quadcopter to snap your own quadcopter selfie
- Using marshmallows to calculate the speed of light
- Building and programming a robot
- Designing an object to create on a 3D Printer
- Programming your own video game
The crew members themselves plan what we do, so regardless of which STEM related activities you are interested in — if you join us, your special interest might be what we do next!
